すこしゆきがあります。やった！(I’m not sure that’s correct – what I want to say is kind of “there’s only a little snow”.)
今日てんきはとてもきれいでした。

We’re having warmer weather as well and the snow is slowly melting then leaving ice to slick up the sidewalks and streets in the mornings. But at least I don’t have to worry about exposed skin freezing in a few minutes so I’ll take the ice any day. Miss you all.

C loves that hat! He had a real favorite one before it but ditched it as soon as he got this one from you,. He’s used this one ever since.

I don’t know what happened to winter around here – during the whole winter we’ve had temps below -10C maybe 2 or 3 times? Weird, I tell ya. And hardly any snow, either. There was a week somewhere in there when we all of sudden had at least 50 cm of snow (about the same time as you posted that picture of you thigh deep in snow in your back yard, remember?), but that’s about it. Apart from that, we’ve had a patch here and a patch there. Just plain weird. And scary, too.
I absolutely HATE winter, but still… something’s wrong and that’s worrysome.

はい、おおかみがいます。I have never seen one though, very few people have. But we know they’re there.
There is no need to be afraid of them, they aren’t dangerous to humans. I would love to see one some day!
