Hej! (こんいちは!)
First of all I have a question for you: how do you say “it’s raining” in Japanese? あめをふます?
昨日ゆきをふました。でも今日あめをふます。 Is that correct?

私のショールです。私がすきです! I really like this pattern a lot, and the yarn is wonderful – very, very soft. I look forward to wearing this shawl when it’s finished. I don’t have a lot of knitting time though, so it might be a while before I get to wear it.
新しいラップトップのかばんをかいました。

I like it, a lot!
Now I just have to go somewhere and bring my laptop so I can actually use it. ^^
今日私と私のむすこ はえいがをみました。となりのととろをみました。とてもいいです!とてもかわいいですね。ネコのバスはとてもたのしいですね。^^
There is now only one more week left in one of the two Japanese classes I’m in right now. I’m nervous because I want good grades. I’ll probably know in 2 weeks, how well I did in this class. とてもエキサイティングとこわいいです。:) I am very happy today because this week we had to record ourselves reading some Japanese, and I got the highest grade on that. やった、やった!:-)
So, after this final week, there is a 2 week break and then I start two new Japanese classes: I will then be taking 3 classes at the same time. My workload will increase a lot, but that’s ok. I enjoy my Japanese studies so much!
今私はもうひとつテストをします。
じゃあまたね。
I like the movie, Totoro, too.
We, Japanese, call it “ネコバス”. Since it’s really famous in Japan, it became “proper noun”.
We really loved that bus! So neat!
Me and my son walk around saying “neko no basu”.
It’s funny that you now say “neko basu” (or “nekobasu”), because in Swedish, that’s exactly what it would be:
neko = katt (cat)
basu = buss (bus)
kattbuss!
I’m going to watch the movie again soon, because I loved it so much. The whole atmosphere in it is just wonderful!
Hi!
I like some of your pictures. It’s also good that you take the opportunity to practice writing Japanese.
If you can try to use more kanji, I think your Japanese sentences will be more readable. As to your question about precipitation, the proper verb form is ふる which becomes ふります(降ります), so the present continuous is ふっています.
Good luck on your continued studies! Be sure to practice your Japanese in front of your teacher, so they can correct any mistakes!
Hi and welcome!
We have just started learning kanji, so that’s why I’m not using a lot of kanji yet. We started with hiragana and katakana and are slowly adding a few kanji each week now.
Thank you so much for the help with the rain question!
As for practising with my teacher, I do. We have lessons online with headset + webcam and we talk a lot. It’s so much fun! My teacher is Japanese, so I get a lot of excellent input from here.
Thank you for visiting and taking the time to comment, I hope you’ll come back again.
Take care!
