日曜日 and I’m so tired. This week has been more hectic than usual, I’ve been out and about a lot more than I usually am. That gave me less time than usual for my studies so now I have a lot of catching up to do. 来週、私は忙しいですね。
We are now going to start learning the -te forms of Japanese verbs. むずかしいですね。私はとてもうざっこいです。I think I understand the part where you use them like the -ing form of English verbs; walking, sitting, talking etc. But you also use the -te form of Japanese verbs to connect several things that have happened, right? Like, for example: “I watched tv and knitted”. That’s where I get lost. Completely.
テレビをみてがあみものをしました。 ??
This is giving me a headache.
I said I’d take some more pictures Friday when I was going on another train ride, but I forgot. I was so tired I spent the whole journey sleeping.
I have a couple of pictures to show though, although not nearly as nice as views from a train.

This is part of our kitchen. We have a large kitchen, this is just the part of the room where we sit and eat. Of course, my dog had to be in the picture too. Well, at least he thought so – he loves being photographed.
The red chair is about as old as I am, I think. It’s been around for ages. Like me.

This is part of the livingroom. I took the photo tonight as I was about to sit down and knit and watch ハリー・ポッターと不死鳥の騎士団 特別版.
We went to イケア yesterday. I bought myself a new chair to sit and knit in. It’s the one to the right in this picture:

It’s very comfortable, I love it! You can tilt the back of it into various positions. Very nice!
Well, I better get back to the books and try to figure out this whole -te thing.
Oh! I almost forgot! I borrowed a book at the library: Ronja Rövardotter (Ronja the robber’s daughter) in Japanese. ローニヤ。It’s very strange to read a book starting at the back and then reading from top to bottom, right to left.
But good practise. If I can find the time, that is.
Söndag is the Swedish word for 日曜日.

We mostly have old furniture, you know, hand-me-downs, but we are slowly replacing them with new things.
