I LOVE the Japanese language. I love studying it, speaking it, learning new words – I love everything about it… except for particles.
Particles: my enemy number one right now. Sigh.
Will I ever get the hang of it?
to ni mo wa e o ga…… heeeeelp!!
Ok. Deep breath, and back to the books…
Hi Ika,
Your Japanese is excellent. I have friends who lean Japanese, but I’ve never met a person who is good at using “particles” like you. I mean you are the No.1.
And Thank you for showing the display in the grocery. I like it.
I’m really interested in cool Swedish design, so let me show it someday.
Btw, could you check your e-mail box?
Awww, thanks! You are so sweet!
But particles are very difficult. We have 3 tests every week, and so far I’ve only had a few things wrong – but the things that are wrong are almost always particles.
It’s ok when it’s a simple sentence like
There is a book on the table.
But when you mix more things into it, like
On the desk, next to a bag, there is a book that costs 4000 yen.
Eeeek!
Checking my mailbox right now!
