Still here

I’m still here, I’ve just been sooo busy. I am working on a blog post in Japanese that I hope to post here later today.

じゃあまた！

やった！！

今雪が振っています。It’s just one big, white blur outside my window. It’s snowing heavily. I wish we had spring, like Maco. I am so tired of snow and winter and cold weather.

But, that said – the snowing can’t really get me down today, because I just received my grade for the course in Japanese grammar och oral proficiency that I finished last week. I got the highest grade! やった、やった！！ I’m so happy!!

Now I move on to “Oral proficiency II” and “Japanese Written Language Proficiency I”. Fun fun fun!

Spring? Not quite…

The past week or so we’ve been having real winter weather again. Temperatures down to -15C. Brrrr!

Good thing there’s great music to cheer me up.

今日、私は映画を見ました。“Flood”をみました。 とてもいいです。

大学をやすみます

私のイヌです。彼の名前はフラッスです。私のイヌがすきです！

先週はとてもいそがしいでした。しんどいです。新しいエネルギーを売るために、土曜日に森林で散歩にいきました。

ほとんど雪がありませんでした。いいですね。雪が嫌いです。夏季が好きです。

このおがわは私の家にちかくにあります。しんりんはとてもおおきいです。おおかみとやまねことくまときつねとしかとヘラジカがいます。

しんりんがすきです！おちついたです。私はそこであるきます。

すこしゆきがあります。やった！(I’m not sure that’s correct – what I want to say is kind of “there’s only a little snow”.)

今日てんきはとてもきれいでした。

今日雨が降っています。とてもグレイです。Today, everything is grey and muddy and wet.
How I long for spring, and even more: summer! I want sunshine, light and warmth!

This is a very strange March we’re having this year. Usually, March is a cold (often down to -15C) month with lots of snow and ice. Now? Rain and about +5C. Weird.

にほんごは勉強をします。 This week we are learning more verbs, like for example あびる、きる、もつ、やすむ and many more. やった for verbs! ^^

イカです。^^

まあじゃんをよくします。 まあじゃんがすきです！Do you like mahjong? I play it a lot on the computer, I think it’s a nice way to relax. I don’t have much time for games, but mahjong is nice and quick.

Today I have to send in my applications for the courses I want to take in the fall. I hope to be accepted into 4 Japanese courses at the university where I’m studying now. I wanted to study over the summer too, but haven’t found any Japanese summer courses.

This evening, I have an online meeting with two of my classmates. We are going to practise some Japanese sentences together, it’s part of the task for this week. Speaking Japanese with them is always lots of fun so I’m looking forward to that. I also have some translation to do. Tomorrow it’s time for the first test (out of 3) for this week. There’s also another recording to make, of me speaking Japanese. Fun!

昨日えいがをかりました。D-War でした。つまらないです！I thought the story sounded nice, but the movie was soooo slow. Nice idea, but badly made movie…

Is my Japanese translation correct? I’m trying to understand particles better and so I thought I’d try to write a sentence with lots of particles in it.

今日にほんごをべんきょうしてしごとをしました。今夜中くらいです。

ゆないとの”Endless story”をききます。とてもいいですね。I like her very much, she has a beautiful voice!

あした私はにほんごを勉強してにほんごのテストをしてしゃしんをとってほんをよみます。

Hej! (こんいちは!)

First of all I have a question for you: how do you say “it’s raining” in Japanese? あめをふます?

昨日ゆきをふました。でも今日あめをふます。 Is that correct?

私のショールです。私がすきです！ I really like this pattern a lot, and the yarn is wonderful – very, very soft. I look forward to wearing this shawl when it’s finished. I don’t have a lot of knitting time though, so it might be a while before I get to wear it.

新しいラップトップのかばんをかいました。

I like it, a lot! Now I just have to go somewhere and bring my laptop so I can actually use it. ^^

今日私と私のむすこ はえいがをみました。となりのととろをみました。とてもいいです！とてもかわいいですね。ネコのバスはとてもたのしいですね。^^

There is now only one more week left in one of the two Japanese classes I’m in right now. I’m nervous because I want good grades. I’ll probably know in 2 weeks, how well I did in this class. とてもエキサイティングとこわいいです。:) I am very happy today because this week we had to record ourselves reading some Japanese, and I got the highest grade on that. やった、やった！:-)

So, after this final week, there is a 2 week break and then I start two new Japanese classes: I will then be taking 3 classes at the same time. My workload will increase a lot, but that’s ok. I enjoy my Japanese studies so much!

今朝私は掃除をして洗濯をしてしょっきをあらいました。

今く時にです。私はねむいです。日本語を勉強しています。

明日日本語を勉強します。What a surprise, eh? There won’t be much else going on tomorrow because in the evening we have our weekly lesson with our Japanese teacher and I want to be well prepared. Thursday I hope to have some time off from studying (although, knowing me I probably won’t be able to stay away from it…). Friday I’m going to the hairdresser to have my hair cut and maybe dyed too, we’ll see. でも、今よふけです。I better go to bed.

I loved Barbapappa (バーバパパ) as a child. I’m really looking forward to reading this book!
